LIAM LIDBETTER
Liam Lidbetter is a Brighton-based painter working primarily in acrylics. His work focuses on the overlooked poetry of everyday architecture — from brutalist blocks and fading billboards to weathered façades and anonymous roadsides. Rooted in a fascination with urban landscapes and transitional spaces, his work reflects the quiet drama of towns and cities — places caught between function and beauty.
Each painting aims to capture not just a building or street, but the atmosphere it holds: traces of time, memory, and human presence in walls, windows, and signs. His practice draws on both observation and imagination, creating paintings that hover between realism and storytelling.
Originals and limited-edition prints are available.
As an experimental musician and producer he has released two full-length albums, two EPs and a limited edition cassette.
